About Us: Rosie Mariani, Amanda Kenney, and Akhila Murphy are volunteer board members for Full Circle of Living and Dying, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Nevada County.
We are trained, experienced End-of-life Doulas and Death Educators. We believe in the power of meaningful open conversations about death, dying, and after-death care and hope to share the healing power of ceremony and ritual.
The three of us have worked together for many years. We love art and collaging, and wanted to combine the process of casket creation with death education. So during our session, we’ll have some conversations about Dia de los Muertos, home altars and death-care while putting our creative energies into our casket project.
