Acrylic Painting Workshop with Denise Wey
Saturday, January 25, from 10-4 PM $135
Simple, beautiful color…a quantum subject that could take a lifetime of study! Yet, in this one day you can come away with enough basic understanding and experience to support your creative endeavors! Without prior knowledge of color-mixing, painting can be frustrating to beginning students, so this workshop is a great first step in learning to paint and suggested for any beginners wanting to take our ongoing painting classes. And, it’s really fun!

A slightly different experience with Douglass than the “My House” workshop, we will be first loosening up with some exercises designed by Truth. The Revolution of Flowers workshop borrows from his book of that title. We will be painting in the “Douglass Truth-style” on black canvas along with the artist, himself. No experience necessary, just a willingness to go with the flow, dive in and have fun!
