A slightly different experience with Douglass than the “My House” workshop, we will be first loosening up with some exercises designed by Truth. The Revolution of Flowers workshop borrows from his book of that title. We will be painting in the “Douglass Truth-style” on black canvas along with the artist, himself. No experience necessary, just a willingness to go with the flow, dive in and have fun!

RIVER PAINTING
Acrylic Painting Workshop

Summer is a great time to connect with your local Yuba River and learn to paint water and rocks! This class is geared to beginners (or anyone) who wants to learn how to paint water. The instructor will share some steps to show how she began to learn to paint the Yuba.
Working small, (12”x12”) students will paint along with the instructor, step-by-step, on a painting that has key river elements such as rocks, river water with reflections and depth and foliage.
You are responsible for purchasing your 12 x 12 canvas, but I supply the paints and lend brushes if you don’t have your own.
