“People interest me - as does the whole of the human experience! I'm inspired by my daily interactions and by my collection of folk art figures. I so love their charm and how they express a candid vulnerability.

I create ceramic figures incorporating painted wood and encaustic wax backgrounds to make scenarios. I’m hoping the viewers see a bit of themselves in my portraits of funny little people. A pirate, mermaid, fat lady, cowboy, bareback rider - we have so much commonality! What is your "story"?”
